Opis materiału Tanita Tikaram -- Twist In My Sobriety [[ Official Live Video ]] HD

Tanita Tikaram -- Twist In My Sobriety :: Lyrics :: All God's children need travelling shoes
Drive your problems from here
All good people read good books
Now your conscience is clear

In the morning when I wipe my brow
Wipe the miles away
I like to think I can be so willed
And never do what you say

Look my eyes are just holograms
Look your love has drawn red from my hands
From my hands you know you'll never be
More than twist in my sobriety

We just poked a little pie
For the fun that people have at night
Late at night don't need hostility
The timid smile and pause to free

I don't care about their different thoughts
Different thoughts are good for me
Up in arms and chaste and whole
All God's children took their toll

Cup of tea take time to think yeah
Time to risk a life a life a life
Sweet and handsome soft and porky
You pig out 'til you've seen the light
Pig out 'til you've seen the light

Half the people read the papers
Read them good and well
Pretty people nervous people
People have got to sell
News you have to sell ....

I’v hear this song when I was about 3,4 years old. Never forgot the melody or her voice and been searching for this song. I didn’t know the lyrics, name of the song nor the name of the artist. Finally found it 7 ish years ago.

Is he Russian? Most of the comments are in Russian, so I assume he is. It has a simple drum beat, but there's something hypnotic about it! I've set it to looping and have been listening to it on repeat all day -- I rarely do that unless I really love a song! Don't get me wrong, I love this song and his deep voice, but I suspect he just threw a bunch of random sentences together, set them to music, and called it a song, lol. For example, I wonder what he means by his eyes on hallowed ground? Or is that just gibbberish? He mentions a girl once in the song, so maybe the song is about a girl?Or maybe the song was translated from Russian by Google Translate, lol?
